The RCPP members and spouses attended the district conference held last March 14 and 15, 2008. Our club had the biggest number of delegates with 57 present out of 68 who registered. Our RCPP spouses also had the biggest delegation during the Anns forum with 15 attendees. Our club was the biggest delegates during the breakfast forum with Gov. Ato Magadia & RIPR Monty Audenart with 12 new Rotarians also attending.

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

Once again, it was a reunion for all rotarians. Meet face to face with all the members of Rotary Club of Palanyag Paranaque (RCPP) on what to be the 23rd Charter Anniversary. It was held on March 24, 2008 in Casino Filipino Forum Hall at 7:00 P.M. Special guest of honor was Governor Ato Magadia who made a short speech. Also invited were spouses of the past presidents / new members as well as officers of RCPP interact and Rotaract club. The ceremony was
emceed by Mr. Charlie Fuentes and Ms. Lily Quibilan and presided by the current President Gamaliel C. Lino who headed all Hawaiian dressed rotarians. Highlighted on his speech was the enlistment of 27 new Rotarians under his leadership. Presently, there are 54 members of RCPP. The president along with Mr. Hermie Brion awarded souvenir items to all past presidents.Program includes video presentation for all the past presidents, blowing of candles, games and special dance from Hawaiian dancers of Gtech.

Vehicles lined up along Max Alabang to show world understanding. The parade started at 9:00 AM from Alabang to Pilar Village, Las Pinas where the Gawad Kalinga (GK) located. Gawad Kalinga translated in english means "To give care". It is an organization focused on helping the problems of poverty with it's mission, programs, action plans, resources, projects and relief efforts.
